Mrs. Heape was born November 5, 1937 in Colleton County, a daughter of the late Joe Duncan Kinard and Ethel Breland Kinard. She worked in the Cafeteria at Brunson Elementary School until her retirement, and was a member of the Sandy Run Baptist Church. Surviving are: Her son, William Heape of Hampton; grandson: Justin W. Heape of Hampton; two brothers: W. Dennis Kinard (Nancy) of Walterboro, Charles Delo Kinard (Martha) of Knoxville; and a sister: Helen Kinard of Walterboro, along with many nieces and nephews. Mrs. DeLoache graduated from Estill High School in 1937 and was employed as a Telephone Operator, and Bookkeeper, and had worked with her sister Lillian Thomas at Hampton Furniture and Gas Company until her mid-90s.
