Parents please share your experience at CORE (BVC) Volleyball (2024)

I want to take this opportunity to thank you for providing a very positive club season for Abby this year. She has really enjoyed playing for BVC and especially enjoys being coached by ***, who offers her players the right balance in teaching skills, being a great role model, offering encouragement and keeping it fun. Abby can’t wait to get to practice each week, which says it all. Thank you for setting the tone and expectations for the coaches and players and making this such a positive experience for all.

I want to take this time to express thanks for a great coahing staff, an affordable club and all the communication we recieved this season. Your 16-2 coach is fabulous and has been very encouraging to the team, managing the players and increasing their skills tremendously. This has been such a positive season and team has been so cohesive and goal directed.

*** does a really great job of decreasing the drama of the players and encouraging them to push past their comfort zone and learn new skills.

*** was an excellent coach. She made her expectations clear. Related well to the girls and motivated them to do their best. The proof is in the teams visible improvement throughout the season.

We loved everything about BVC. Lauren learned a lot, had fun and enjoyed being on a team with other girls who were good players and good people. There was no drama. I was very pleased with how costs are intelligently controlled but not at the expense of a quality experience. We were grateful to be a part of the team.

*** was an outstanding coach! This being our daughter's third club team in three years, *** is light years ahead of the communication we've previously experience. And for whatever reason, the team had no drama, no yelling, no ugliness. The team and coaches conducted themselves respectfully and it was a great experience for my daughter and for us as parents. Bravo for having an outstanding program. We also liked that the majority of the tournaments were at Vis, practice schedules were reasonable and the price was great for what we received in return. Well done!

My daughter thought she was a great coach. She has played 5 years of JO volleyball and *** helped her improve her game with new ideas. My daughter enjoyed going to practice.

Amanda had a great time with Core this past season. Coach Sarah was an amazing leader. She taught the girls about teamwork and taught them about never giving up, working hard and having fun! Great experience!!!

This was our first club level experience and we were very pleased with all aspects of it. The price was very reasonable compared to other clubs and everything was very well organized. My daughter enjoyed the practices and the tournaments. The girls always had fun and the coaches were always positive (which wasn't always the case with some of the teams we played). CORE provided a very well-rounded club experience and we look forward to being a part of it in the future.

What's not to like? Personal attention, focused coaching and a totally positive and inclusive culture. Our family has been extremely happy with Core and can't wait for the next season. Core has been a terrific experience for my daughter - not just in volleyball skills - but with her personal and leadership skills. Go Core!

My daughter has played multiple seasons with CORE. It's been a wonderful experience each year! It's the right mix of skill development, competition, team development and developing friendships with other players. My daughter's technical VB skills improve each year, and she really enjoys the club. The intense, competitive JO teams were not a good fit for her or our family, so I was grateful to find CORE as it allows her to play competitive VB through the school year, after completing her high school season.
