| Adrift beachside accommodation is very much a family-run holiday resort, it is run on a daily basis by six of our family Bess, Gordon, Emily, John, Naomi and Jordan. Bess is Canadian born and some of her interests are gardening, cooking and meeting new people! Gordon hails from the north of England and arrived in NZ via Canada. His interests include gardening, mountain biking, landscaping, and designing. He designed all the buildings on our property and this website. We have 4 children and two grandchildren. Our daughter Emily and her husband John work full time with us. Emily is a Kiwi and John is Polynesian from the small South Pacific island of Niue. We also get the added bonus of seeing our little grand daughter Coco Rose each day! Naomi is working here for the 2009- 2010 season after spending a year in London on a gap year.Our son Jordan enjoys landscaping, tractor work and projects about our property. Having been in Golden Bay for 24 years, we have a good local knowledge of things to do and places to go. We're in love with the area and enjoy sharing both our lifestyle and enthusiasm for the top of the South Island. |
