For many years before building our seafront holiday accommodation, our full-time occupation was growing fruit and vegetables which we sold from a roadside stall on our 10 acre property. Knowing how popular fresh, local produce is, it was only natural to continue this for our guests. As much as possible what we grow is "spray-free".We will cater for special diets at no extra cost. eg vegetarian, wheat or lactose free but please let us know your requirements at the time you book so that we can purchase the necessary ingredients.
COTTAGE GUESTS For the cottages we provide a daily hamper of breakfast provisions, prepared as much as is practical but you do the final preparation when and where you like- you can even eat it down on the beach!
You have a choice of:-
Our "Continental Breakfast Hamper"
Home-made toasted muesli.
Home-made natural yoghurt.
Fresh fruit- which in season can be home-grown strawberries, raspberries, plums, apples or apricots. This is supplemented with purchased fruit, organic or local when available.
Local-baked speciality bread (partly organic) with spreads.
Fruit juice.
Or our "Cooked Breakfast Hamper"
Free-range eggs.
Locally produced bacon.
Fresh Tomatoes (home or locally grown in season) & Mushrooms.
Home-baked bread with spreads.
Fruit juice.
STUDIO GUESTS For the studio we provide a daily hamper of breakfast provisions; since there are no coking facilities in the studio, just a kettle, we only provide a hamper for a continental breakfast which is:- Home-made toasted muesli. (or a selection of commercial cereals if you do not like muesli/ granola)
As one guest commented... "The memory of those delicious breakfasts will linger on." See our "comments" section for more extracts from our guest book. |
